After five wonderful years in Copenhagen, our family is moving back to France, and we are looking for a Danish au pair to join us for a school year, ideally from September/October 2026 until June/July 2027.

We are a family of 4: Claire, Frederik, Søren (4 years old) and Solvej (1.5 years old). Despite our Danish-sounding names, we are actually French! Denmark is, however, a very important part of our family story. We have Danish roots, and our time in Copenhagen left a lasting mark on us. We would love our au pair to bring a little bit of Denmark into our home, while we share French life and traditions. More than an au pair, we hope to welcome a new member of the family and create a truly enriching French-Danish cultural exchange for the year!

What we are looking for

The role would include:

Picking up the children from school and daycare 3 afternoons per week
Playing with them and speaking Danish with them
Helping with bath time and the evening routine
Looking after Søren every Wednesdays
Occasional evening babysitting when convenient
This represents approximately 20 hours per week, with weekends free.

Where we live

We have rented a family house in Le Vésinet, a safe and green residential town just outside Paris. While enjoying a peaceful environment, you are still very close to the city: our house is just a short walk from the RER A train line, with direct access to central Paris in around 20 minutes.

You would have a large private bedroom, your own bathroom, all meals included, a monthly transportation pass covered by us and pocket money every month.

Previous childcare experience is appreciated. What matters most to us is kindness, reliability, and a positive attitude.

We see an au pair experience as much more than childcare. We hope to create a warm and welcoming home where you will feel comfortable, supported, and included as part of the family. We would be happy to help you settle into life in France, discover Paris and its surroundings, and practice French if you wish. We also enjoy travelling and exploring new places and would be delighted to include you in some of our family trips.

Hej, jeg hjælper min værtsfamilie med at finde en ny au pair til næste skoleår, startende fra 25 august-1 september og hele skoleåret. Jeg har selv været ved familien et helt skoleår lige om lidt og har været rigtig glad for det. Som au pair kommer man til at tage sig af familiens skønne og vidunderlige 4 børn, og man falder hurtigt ind i storesøster-rollen, da man også bor i samme hus som familien. Desuden er det en fransk familie, så man bliver præsenteret for en masse fransk kultur og mad og kan forbedre sit franske meget. Børnene snakker kun fransk, men forældrene er rigtig gode til engelsk. Au Pair Position – Paris, France | From Late August/Early September 2026 to July 2027

We are a warm and welcoming Parisian family looking for a motivated and caring au pair to join us for a full school year, from late August/early September 2026 to July 2027. 

We are a family of five: our two older children are 21 and 18 are students, and we have a wonderful 10-year-old daughter who needs a friend to take care of her after school. As a mother who personally benefited from having a Danish au pair for 10 years growing up, I am passionate about passing on this enriching cultural exchange tradition to my youngest child.

Your main responsibilities will include speaking in English to her, school pick-ups, accompanying to her extracurricular activities, helping with her homework, preparing her dinner, playing with her and a few evening babysitting, for approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. 

In return, we offer a private and fully independent small studio in the same building with a kitchenette, shower and toilet, all meals included, Student monthly transit card covered, and a pocket money of €300 per month.

We are looking for someone responsible, cheerful and patient, who genuinely loves children and is eager to experience Parisian life while sharing their own culture with ours. My name is Rosa, I am 20 years old, and I come from Aalborg in  Denmark. I am currently looking for a kind and welcoming host family in Paris, where I can work as an au pair.

I am a responsible, caring, and positive person who truly enjoys spending time with children. I have learned how to care for children through my family, as I have younger siblings whom I have always helped look after.
